Annabella Milbanke was known as the "Princess of Parallelograms". She was called this by her husband. Her husband, Lord Byron, and her had a child names Ada Byron. Annabella was called the "Princess of Parallelograms" because she studied mathematics and had mathematical training. Lord Byron insisted that his daughter study mathematics as well. This was odd because mathematics was not a usual study by women.

Area #1
The area of a rectangle, square, and parallelogram are the same because if you cut and rearrange the shape, the figures turn out to be either a rectangle, square,or parallelogram. Thus using the formula A=bXh.
Tennessee:
A=bXh
A=440X120
A=52,800 miles (approximately)
Actual area: 42,181 square miles

Chapter 10. Madison Prater
In chapter 10, I learned many things. One thing I have learned in what circumference is. The circumference of a circle is the distance around a circle. You find the circumference by C=pi X diameter. I also learned what an arc was. There are three different types of arcs: minor, major, and semicircle. I learned what inscribed angles are as well.
A career that uses these concepts is engineering. Many careers use geometry, such as meteorology. Engineering put things together such as machines, wheels, cars, etc.
One question I still have is how to find the angle measures while using the secants and tangents. It's still confusing to me. It's still new.
